It's worth the trip. Extremely Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fully stocked with quality gear, a must stop before any excursion or just visit to look around. A welcome change to the larger corporate outdoor chains that seem to have taken over. This place will exceed your expectations. I only wish I had visited years ago. Sojourns has been our go-to for all things outdoors for many years. their customer service has always been exceptional. Today was no different. I went in to buy Cross Country Classic ski boots. Connor assisted me. Unfortunately, they didn't have a boot that fit perfectly. Connor took the time to call other shops and found me a pair in my size at Hardwood Hills. Of course, we still bought other items before we left the store. As you can't go to Sojourns and buy just one item. Connor, the shoes at Hardwood were just right. My wife and I went to Sojourn Barrie to buy backpacks for our trip to Portugal. Ian our salesperson helped us every step of the way and was very knowledgeable about all the products and answered all of our many questions. he never rushed us or tried to up sell us something we didn't need. We really appreciated his help and we both found the perfect backpacks. Then we met Liz (a.k.a. the Camino Lady) she was super helpful and an expert about all things Camino. We can't wait to attend her class and learn more about what to bring and how to prepare. There is something about this store that keeps us coming back over and over. I always feel good about my purchase because I know I have great quality, Canadian made when possible and exactly what I need with nothing more. Went into Sojourn the other day looking for a multi day pack. I met John and he stood around for an hour while I asked him to see all kinds of packs. He was very patient with me and allowed me to try on and test out 5 different packs. He was very helpful and aided me in selecting the right pack! Thank you for all the help, and the great service!
